mix:

sandalwood oil, sage oil, clove bud oil, amber oil and nutmeg oil. Rub this oil on a piece of jade, visualize your fortunes changing for the better, and then put it in a sachet. if you don't have these oils on hand, then cinnamon, cloves and almond oil will do a pinch. Carry with you to attract prosperity. xoxo

abundance incense

2 tbs cinnamon. 1 tbs cloves 1 tbs nutmeg. 1 tbs ginger. 3 drops orange oil. 3 drops lavandar oil. 3 drops rose water. 1/ cup of honey. Mix together into a paste and let it dry out. If you want to make things go faster add a single hair from a white rabbit (Live). After it's dry, burn it on your altar and then command the Universe for prosperity.

Find Love Tea

1 pinch rosemary, 2 whole cloves, 3 pinches thyme, 3 pinches nutmeg, 3 fresh mint leaves, 6 fresh rose petals, 1 piece of lemon peel, and 3 cups of spring water. Brew the tea and strain, add honey to taste. Brew this on a Friday for best results. Before drinking, say "By the light of the moon I brew this tea, so that love may soon find me." I hope those seeking love find it soon!

OSTARA & SUPER MOON

This Monday, on March 21 2011, we celebrate Ostara,
the Spring Equinox.

There are only two times a year when day and night
are in balance.

Ostara is one of them, and we celebrate the days growing
longer and the light increasing.

This year is extra special because on March 19th, the full moon
will be what's called a Super Moon.

That means that the moon will come the closest to Earth than it
has in 19 years.

It's truly a special and powerful event, yet some people are
predicting that it has the potential for disaster.

Some people are even saying that the earthquake in Japan was
because of the Super Moon.

But that's like saying that all the small earthquakes that
happen every day are connected to the moon cycle.

If something is already happening, however, the super moon
can have an effect on it.

No question that the Super Moon is powerful, for good and
for bad.

I think that with the Super Moon and Ostara happening so close together, we have an opportunity to channel a huge amount of power.

If you haven't already planned your ritual for this
powerful time, I'd like to encourage you to do so.

After all, it isn't every day that we Wiccans get a chance to be
a part of a Super Moon (and the next one won't be for 19 years!)

incense such as jasmine, rose, and violet.

Green candles symbolize the birthing of the new spring
and new growth.

But don't just celebrate the spring.

Use the ritual to send prayers of healing and protection
to those affected by the recent disasters.

And seize this opportunity to make requests and
cast spells for more personal matters, too.

They will be 10 times more powerful if you cast them
during this auspicious time.

smell the money

Here's a prosperity mixture that really works:

Take a tablespoon of cinnamon
Add a two tablespoons of cloves
One tablespoon of nutmeg
Some ground ginger (NOT powder)
freshly ground coffee beans (1 tablespoon)
6 drops lavender oil
6 drops ylang ylang oil
6 tablespoons of honey

Mix everything together and put it in a babyfood jar.

Open the jar and smell the mixture once a day for 30 days. Try and prepare this when the moon is full.

When opening the jar to smell it say the following:

"Goddess Mother hear me here.
Send me what I need so dear.
Help me become the best I can be.
Send me money, so mote it be."

The contents of the jar are now sacred because you have offered them to the Goddess. After a month, let it dry out and you can burn it on your altar.

cleansing stones

Wash the stone in cool water and soap. Then rinse it well and dry with a towel.

As you do this, chant quietly:

"Be cleansed of all bad energy,

As I will, so mote it be."

Wrap it in a cloth or plastic bag and put it in the freezer for 24 hours.

That's it! Your stones are as good as new.

When you cleanse your stones, your spells will be more effective.

It's an easy thing to do but will greatly enhance your spells and rituals.

Easy Healing Spell from Aurora

This is a healing spell that anyone can do.

You'll need a crystal to amplify your spell.

My best crystal is a rose quartz that I found in
England several years ago.

But any crystal will do.

Cast your circle and take a few moments to set
your intention for healing.

Allow your body to relax and summon healing energy
to you.

Now, raise the energy and direct it into the
crystal.

Charge the crystal with your powerful healing energy.

Ask the Goddess for healing and health for all
those in need.

If there's a name of someone specific that needs healing,
repeat the name seven times, starting with a whisper
and getting louder and louder each time.

This is what Grandmother does when the need is urgent
and she doesn't have time for too much ritual.

It's simple but if you have the right intentions
it's very powerful.

One thing that I learned from Grandmother is that magic
doesn't always have to be complicated.

Sometimes simple is best, as long as it comes from the
heart.

And I know that you Goddesses have SO much heart.

Building your circle

Let me begin by saying there are 108 ways to build a Wiccan circle. I'm not going to tell you any of these ways are correct or incorrect. In my opinion, people spend so much time obsessing about the circle they miss out on the most important part, what takes place IN the circle.

Some people believe circles have to be a certain size or only outdoors. Not true. But the circle is something that is temporary. They aren't permanent structures and remember - these are spiritual concepts.

If you are looking for something to protect your home and family, the circle is the wrong thing to choose. I'll be happy to help you with that if that is what you need.

So before we cast our circle, we need to spiritual clean the area. Mother uses her broom stick to sweep the area clear. Grandmother uses a lavender mist as well. Then we set up the altar and prepare the circle.

As you prepare the circle, invoke the power of the God and Goddess. The God representing the sun and the Goddess representing the moon both connect through the circle.

Now there are many formulas for creating the circle. Many people view the circle with an inscribed pentagram with a God or Goddess to be invoked for each point of the star.

Grandmother places candles at each point of the star. She uses different candles and scented oils depending on the goals of each session. Grandmother says the purpose of the circle is the interchange of energies between ourselves, our inner God and Goddess, the universe, and mother earth.

So the circle is really the center of energy exchange.

It takes mother nearly an hour to set up her circle. Grandmother does it much faster but mother says she leaves out many important steps.

My family uses salt to set up the circle (sea salt is best) because salt is eternal as is the God and Goddess as we are in one form or another. We sprinkle some salt at each point of the star and then leave some on the altar.

We then use incense from the altar to help set the circle and we go to each point and all around the circle invoking the sacred names. Although some people take a white string and mark out the circle, we never do.

I'm leaving out the names of the deities and the order we invoke them here to save time.

Basic Protection spell from Aurora

Draw your circle and step in.

Visualize what you want to protect. Set your intention for protection.

This is the spell.
(The names you can't pronounce are Divine Names.) Some people say just to look at them. Others say pronounce them the best you can.

Blessed be my mouth that I might share your praises.
Blessed by my breasts that I might be faithful to thee.

Mother protect your humble servant from all.
Overturn the plans of anyone who plots against me.
Tame the faithless foe.
Draw a circle around all their plans.
Circle them from within.
Cast them from without.

ingredients:

*drawstring bag or square cloth & string to close it up

*white candle or any color will work

*pinch of sea salt

*pinch of cayenne pepper

*cinnamon stick

*cloves

*small object that has special meaning to you can be lucky penny or silver ring

find a place that you will not be disturb, you can do it anytime, anywhere, what matters is intentions & concentration.

set the ingredients:

mix salt, pepper, cloves & cinnamon in a small bowl, light your candle & hold your special object in your right hand, closing it tightly in your fist, place your left hand over your right hand & wave your hands in a circle over the candle seven times.

Then say slowly & out load:

"Powers of darkness and powers of light

See this candle burning bright

Darkness be gone from my sight Keep me only in the light

Keep me safe from all who harm

Keep me safe and hear my charm."

Then place the special object into the bag along with ingredients. Carry it everywhere you go.
